Greetings from Mayor Bob Garcia. Our City has a broad range of year-round activities for residents, which include a variety of sports for children and adults in our well-maintained Park system, Summer Day Camp for children, a Gateway Center for the Arts, Monday Social for Seniors, and performances of the Gateway Orchestra. We cap the year with our Christmas Home Lighting Display Contest, Festival of Lights, the Annual Christmas Parade, and the Christmas Concert. Let us continue to observe the true meaning of the recent Holidays and the spirit of DeBary. We encourage you to consider DeBary if you are either starting a new business or plan to re-locate. We preserve the small town spirit and people enjoy the friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. Our City offers many volunteer opportunities through our boards and committees, local community groups, and fraternal organizations. They are some of the key assets of DeBary. The success of our City is what it has to offer to the community. Your involvement and commitment strengthens our community. We are here to serve the people. Your questions and comments provide us with the opportunity to fulfill your needs. It is my goal as your Mayor to make DeBary an even better place to live, work, have a business and to raise a family. I believe DeBary is a haven. We have been guided to DeBary to fulfill our dreams.
